Hello,
My name is Mita. I am a lecturer at a university down in London. I'm looking for a flatmate, for short term full-time living. What I mean by this is having someone here seven days a week.
(Although the room is also available for Monday to Friday rental too, see below for costings.)
The flat/room would suit someone who is in between tenancies or new to the area and needs a temporary place to stay while they get to know the city or someone coming to Liverpool to work/study for a few months. It is also great for an international student.
Rent for full-time living: £625 per month (open to negotiate).
Bills are included.
Monday - Friday renting is also available at a cheaper monthly rate of £475 a month, again all bills included. Please contact me for more information.
The flat is close to the city centre, the universities (UoL (15 minute walk), LJMU (15 - 20 minute walk), hospitals (Women's 10 mins walk, Royal 25 minute walk), and LIPA (7 - 10 min walk). Transport links are close too, Liverpool Lime St is 25 mins walk, Liverpool Central is 15 min walk away. Lots of bus stops into and out of town too.
The room is a medium sized single room. It comes with it's have your own bathroom, which you would have sole use. It's furnished, with a bed, sofa, some drawers, cabinets, and some wardrobe space. It is a large walk-in wardrobe, that I use as a wardrobe, but there is space for you to use too.
You will have access to the kitchen throughout the day, but sadly only access to the lounge, and dining room, when I am not working. There is a cupboard for your items in the kitchen as well as space in the fridge. There is no need to bring cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, as these are all available to share. As are the many condiments, spices and other cooking ingredients.
I will need references from employers if you are working in Liverpool, as well as previous landlords/ladies, and I'd like to see your social media too - to check the vibe is right. This is my flat and I would need to know I am safe with the person I am letting into my flat. I will be happy to share mine, in return.
I'll be a live-in landlady. I do work from home (9/10am- 6pm) for most of the week, during term time I do commute to London for two to three days a week.
If you are unable to come and view the flat, I am happy to do a video call with you.
