I’m subletting my room in our large, bright warehouse conversion in Manor House while I’m travelling, roughly from 1 May – 5th June (ideally most of that period).
The room has a generous three story mezzanine, high ceilings, full‑length windows and skylights, plus a window that opens to the outside. It comes fully furnished with a sofa, new mattress, desk, chair, drawers, wardrobe, shelves — and some plants. I’m happy to move my stuff out to make space for yours, as much as you need.
Rent is £200 per week, including all bills and good WiFi. Deposit is £200, and rent is paid on day one of the sublet.
There are 22 housemates in total, but it honestly never feels intense — people are generally out working and the space is huge. Everyone’s between about 23 and 40+ and works across photography, music, DJing, science, academia, social justice, illustration, video editing, architecture, VR, fashion, etc. It’s a chilled warehouse with occasional weekend noise, so it’d suit someone doing their own thing during the week and up for the odd get‑together at the weekend. We do house dinners, drinks, parties/dancing, projector film nights and street BBQs in summer — but there’s also loads of space to keep to yourself. My room is in the back space and doesn’t hear the main area at all and has its own office/living room.
I’m keen to sublet to someone the house will like, so I’ll be meeting/calling people, and if you’re in London you can come by ASAP.
The house has a big open‑plan kitchen and living room with lots of plants, a piano and a projector. There’s a dedicated work/art‑making space you’re welcome to use, plus a weekly cleaner for communal areas (included in the rent). If you’re planning to use the workspace, just let me know what kind of work you do — we’re pretty accommodating.
Location‑wise, it’s about a 10–15 minute walk to Manor House, Seven Sisters and Stamford Hill stations, and around 20–30 minutes to Stoke Newington Church Street.
If you’re interested, please email me with the dates you’re looking for and a bit about yourself — age, what you do, interests, and anything else that gives a sense of you as a person and housemate.
Cheers
