Hi everyone!
I have a bright, good-size double bedroom available in a homely and modern 2-bedroom flat. The room benefits from having its own separate bathroom as the master bedroom has an en-suite.
The flat: Modern and bright, big windows, with a spacious kitchen/dining/lounge and a balcony to enjoy in the warmer summer evenings, and underfloor heating for the winter. Whole flat is furnished to a high standard so is ready to move straight into. Hope you like houseplants!!
The household: I’m Marc - a live-in landlord, working in the city as a QS.
The room: freshly furnished and comes with a new Hypnia mattress, a small wardrobe, chest of drawers, side tables and under bed storage. There is also a coat cupboard in the hallway for bulkier jackets/a shoe rack to save space in the room.
The bathroom is the shared bathroom for the flat, with a shower and bath. This is also where the washer-drier is located. As mentioned the master room is en-suite so the shared bathroom is almost solely used for the second bedroom other than if there are guests visiting or for using the washing machine/cleaning products.
Future tenant: This is my home and I am looking forward to sharing the space with someone new! I’m looking for a tenant who is respectful, tidy and sociable and wants to be a part of the household. I know a great 5k route and some excellent spots for a pint if that’s your jam. Fully recommend “the 12 pubs of Greenwich” Christmas challenge which I’ll take full credit for inventing.
Worth noting the flat doesn’t really lend itself to a WFH lifestyle as don’t really have the desk space, so ideally a work-based professional or student based in London.
Transport:
DLR - Elverson Road - 5 mins walk (direct to Bank)
Greenwich station - 12 mins walk
Lewisham - 10 mins walk (one stop to London Bridge)
The area:
The flat is in a modern development which is just being finished off with landscaped gardens and is close to Greenwich village (15 min walk), Blackheath village (25 min walk) and Lewisham (10 min walk). Notable mention to the Gipsy Moth, Prince of Greenwich and Trafalgar Tavern for a beer or Sunday roast.
Rent: £1,100/month paid monthly in advance. Willing to discuss discounts for upfront payments. Deposit 1 month upfront.
The rent includes all bills, which covers council tax, water, electric, heating, wi-fi, Netflix, tv license, and a cleaner once a month for a deep clean.
