Hi! I'm Lydia, a 32-year-old architect looking for a friendly flatmate to share my two-bedroom flat.

I recently bought the place and am really excited to make it feel even more like home over time, so there'll be a few little improvements and DIY projects as we go. I'd love to find someone who's looking for a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.

I work as an architect during the week and outside of work I love yoga, cycling, swimming in the sea whenever I can and exploring London. I'm also a big fan of art galleries, pop music, cooking, reading, and houseplants.

I'm pretty sociable and always up for a chat over a cup of tea, cooking together or heading to the pub, but I also appreciate having our own space. At home I'm (mostly!) vegetarian, although I don't mind if you're not.

I'm looking for someone who's kind, considerate and easy-going, and who'd enjoy making this feel like a welcoming home together. LGBTQ+ friendly.

The flat has a shared living /dining space and a separate kitchen, a bathroom with a bath and shower, separate loo and a balcony that's sunny in the afternoons perfect for a morning coffee or an evening drink

It's just five minutes from Burgess Park, around a 15-minute walk to both Queen's Road Peckham and Peckham Rye stations, and has loads of great bus routes nearby and a very quick cycle into Elephant and castle or London bridge.

The room has built-in storage and plenty of space to make your own. I have a double bed in there already and curtains too.

I'm planning to hold viewings during the week commencing 20th July, with the room available from early August - flexible on exact timings.
