We have a large double room in our bright and sunny three bedroom house which is available to rent from early November (although we are flexible with move in dates).
Your room is a large double - 3.68m x 3.46m with big windows overlooking the garden. It has recently been repainted and refurbished with brand new, quality furniture including a double bed with pull out storage, a bedside table, a large chest of drawers and a double wardrobe. The room is spacious so there is additional room for any other furniture you would like to bring.
The house is an end of terrace on a quiet street, it has a high spec kitchen with all modern appliances, a breakfast bar, a dining table and chairs as well as communal lounging area. This looks out on to the conservatory and the garden which you are also able to use.
I work away in the Middle East full time, I work in construction and very am rarely in the UK. So you would be living with Sam and Megan who are in their early 30’s. Sam works in media in London and is in the office most days, occasionally working from home. Megan is a fashion teacher working just outside the city.
In their spare time, Sam loves to watch the football and Meg enjoys an art gallery and going out for a good meal.
We are looking for somebody who wants to live in a peaceful house, somebody who is friendly, easy going and who respects personal space.
Based on single person occupancy £890 pcm includes bills (heating, water, electric, council tax, WiFi) and a bi-weekly cleaner.
Couples considered - rent to be discussed.
About the area:
Streatham Common station is an 8 minute walk with trains going to Balham and on to Central London in 18 minutes.
Mitcham Eastfields and Streatham Station are a 20 min walk.
There is a Co-op supermarket 2 minutes walk away and a large Lidl 10 minutes walk away.
Streatham Common park is a 20 minutes walk. There’s lots of pubs in the area (our favourite is The Railway), cafes (Estate Coffee does the best coffee and sausage rolls!) and restaurants within a 15 minute walk.
