Large double room in Chiswick, close to Acton. Available from the 31st of August for medium/long term. I have been living here for a year, and unfortunately my lovely flatmate is moving closer to town following a recent promotion. This would suit a couple.
------------------
The room:
Extremely large double room. Furniture included is the king size bed and one wardrobe.
En-suite bathroom with a shower/tub.
A curtained off skylight that opens up.
This is a basement room that keeps very cool in the summer and relatively warm in winter. I think we only turned on the radiators twice last year downstairs.
This also means plenty of privacy.
The benefit of this room is the space! Plenty of room if you work from home or to set up a studio.
My favourite part of this flat - tons of storage! A landing on the stairs plus a cupboard downstairs with plenty of storage space!
-----------------------
Ground floor:
Open plan kitchen and living room. Very good amount of space with a living room set up and small dining table.
Kitchen has a gas hob, oven, microwave, washer/dryer combo, and a standard fridge/freezer.
In the living room, I have a large smart TV, Switch and XBox 360, and a bookshelf, all can be used communally.
------------------------
The area:
We are a 10 minute walk from Chiswick High Street and Acton Park. A 7 minute walk from Turnham Green Station (District and Piccadilly Lines). 15 minute walk to Acton Overground station. The E3 bus runs right outside, and the 94 runs all night to Turnham Green.
A 20 minute walk to the big Sainsbury's Chiswick, Morrison's or Lidl Acton, or a short ride on the E3 to either.
Southfield Recreation Ground is just around the corner, with Acton Park a short walk away.
We are across the street from a corner shop, fantastic bakery, and a drycleaner.

About me:
I'm a musician, theatre producer, and tour guide, originally from America, by way of New Zealand. I've been in London for about 5 years.
I usually work in town and like to relax at home.
I'm very sociable and would love to have flatmates that click. I enjoy films and shows with a glass of wine or cocktail, tabletop and video games, and regularly go to the local pub quiz. As a tour guide, I love keeping up with London and go to different events and shows in town.
I'm a pianist working in musical theatre and do sometimes practice music at home, but I am always accommodating to my flatmates if they're WFH or similar.
--------------
Final details:
Rent is £1300 and bills/council tax average about £115pp (split between three people). Council tax band D.
This room would be great for a couple. Professionals preferred, but open to local students.
This is an LGBTQ+ friendly house!
Must love cats! I have two very friendly indoor cats that do roam the whole house. They are very clean, neutered, and up to date on all medication. They might be shy at first, but they will learn to give you a cuddle.
