Hi, I'm Valentina, a lady from Rome, Italy, who recently bought the flat in Woolwich Common I am advertising in this ad.
I'm looking for a nice, clean, tidy, neat, responsible, respectful, reliable and discreet female lodger for the bright and spacious main (double) bedroom in my flat in SE18 4HB.

The reason is because I need to move to another city in the UK until April next year for a job and I need a lodger who can take care of my flat while I'm away.
I would like the lodger to be a female as I want someone who can take care of the flat in a similar way as I am at the moment, and she will have the flat all for herself until the end of my job contract at the of March 2027. That's why I'm advertising the room for a minimum of 6 months stay to a maximum of 10 months if the lodger needs to stay for longer, as I might go back to Italy until the summer after the end of my job.
So I'm kind of flexible with dates, I can adjust to the lodger's needs.
I will have to come back next summer though because I need to carry out some works around the flat.

I'm only keeping the studio - guest room for myself during the time I'll be away for potential weekends where I need to be back in London. But the lodger can totally use it while I'm away. I would just like her to be respectful of my stuff in the studio please.

Just to clarify: I'm a (very light) smoker, but I strictly only smoke in the balcony, so no smoking allowed in the flat.
Also, I have a cat but he's not currently in the flat, I'm aiming to bring him back next summer.
So, I will consider someone with a cat or a small pet until next year.
A lodger agreement will be drawn up so we can both be safe.

Petrie House, the property where the flat is, is about 18 minutes walk from Woolwich Station on the Elizabeth line and about 15 minutes walk from Woolwich Arsenal on the DLR and National Railway. There are also buses downstairs right in from of the property that take you to the stations and back. Also buses to nearby locations such as Greenwich, Crystal Palace and other South London destinations. So great transport connections to Central London and anywhere else.

The flat is quiet, bright, on the 4th floor of the building, there's a nice, spacious balcony where you can chill and sit and have a meal or a glass of wine with a friend, with a lovely open view on the leafy hills nearby.

I'm looking for someone to take the main room from mid September or a bit later too if needed, as long as it's September.
I'm going away from September 15th, so the flat will be vacant from that date on, and if the lodger moves in later than that date I will need to exchange keys before I go.

I need someone who can really take care of the flat while I'm away, so they need to be extremely trustworthy and observant of my instructions. I will want to have constant communication with the lodger to make sure everything is running smoothly in the flat.
