Hi everyone
I'm out of London for a couple of weeks and looking to sublet my room for a short period (minimum 1 week, maximum 1 month).
You will be sharing with 1 person only - my German friend Lena which I've known for the past 4 years. We've spent the last year making our little home super cosy, and it comes fully furnished. Lena is 30 and works full-time for a small e-commerce company based in Shoreditch. She's doing a mix of home/office work and spends her free time running, climbing or hanging out with friends. She's often busy with plans after work but likes to have chilled weekends at home and in the neighbourhood.
About you: Respectful, tidy and friendly person ideally working full-time and not fully remote (so that both of you can enjoy some alone time at home during the week). Happy to share the space and treat it like home. Best suited for someone who is in between places or visiting London and needs a relaxing space for a short time.
🏠The flat:
Two-storey flat with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies located on the second floor of a secure apartment building.
My/your room: Located downstairs. South-facing double bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and an en-suite shower room and separate toilet in the hall.
Upstairs: Lena's room + Family bathroom with a toilet and bath/shower. South-facing, open-plan living room and kitchen with a balcony.
🌃The area:
You’re slap-bang in the middle between Dalston and the city, with Hackney gems and the canal right on your doorstep.
Haggerston Overground Station is a 2-minute walk from the flat.
Dalston - 10-minute walk or 5-minute bus from the flat.
Liverpool Street & Old Street are both a 10-minute bus ride.
The area is full of cafes, small plate restaurants, wine bars, yoga studios, gyms and trendy shops, with Broadway Market, London Fields, Haggerston Park and Vicky Park all within walking distance.
Note: There is currently scaffolding on one side of the building, which isn't blocking light/sun but is a bit annoying to look at.
Please send me a bit about yourself and how long you want to rent for.
Rent is £300 per week including bills.
