The Room
This is a generously sized, wood-floored double room on a quiet, tree-lined street, offering a rare amount of space for a London house share (kitchen/bathroom/living room shared with two others).
The standout feature is the large bay window, which floods the room with natural light throughout the day and looks out onto greenery rather than pavement. The room comes fully furnished (with double bed, bedside tables and lamps, bookshelf, sofabed, table and two chairs, armchair and built-in wardrobes) and feels like a proper retreat within the home.
About the House
The house has a relaxed, established vibe and has maintained many period details. In addition to the three tenants sharing the main kitchen/living room/bathroom, there is a studio flatlet and a family in a separate two-bedroom flat; they have their own facilities but share the entrance hall, stairs, and the large and secluded back garden.
Shared Spaces & Household
You will be sharing common areas with two other professional tenants in their 40s. They are looking for someone who fits well with the household—ideally a professional or graduate student who is sociable but also respectful of everyone’s need for peace and quiet.
Kitchen: A bright, functional kitchen with ample counter space and modern appliances.
Living area: A welcoming living/dining area with character, perfect for relaxing or having dinner together.
Bathroom: You will share a full bathroom (with bathtub and separate shower) and a downstairs WC with two other flatmates.
Cleaning: To keep things running smoothly, fortnightly cleaning for the common areas is included in the rent.
Please note: One of the two property owners might stay in a normally empty bedroom for a few days (about 4 times a year). Once a year, they stay with their family for roughly two weeks in the summer. They will always try to coordinate this longer stay with the tenants' holiday schedules so as not to intrude.
Location (NW3)
You couldn't ask for a better spot in North London.
Transport: Just a 5-minute walk to Belsize Park tube (Northern Line) and 15 minutes to Swiss Cottage (Jubilee Line). 2-3 minutes' walk to bus stops (C11 and 1). Cycling into West End in 20 minutes
Green space: A short stroll gets you to Primrose Hill, Regent's Park, or Hampstead Heath.
Local life: England’s Lane and Haverstock Hill are close by, packed with independent shops, cafes, and restaurants.
