We have a couple of rooms going in our lovely shared house.

Room 1 (540 pcm) is a big double overlooking the house garden and is furnished with a wooden-framed bed, double wardrobe, desk with drawers and in-built open shelving.

Room 2 (450 pcm) is a smaller double also overlooking the house garden, nice light room with in-built open shelving. This room also has in built wardrobes in the landing outside the room, so plenty of storage space. I've been in this room for 3 years and it's been a wee cosy well-priced sanctuary for me. I will also really miss how comfy the mattress is.

The house is a terrace with 4 floors. The kitchen has a big new gas range; fridge freezer and is fully kitted. There's two toilets, one in a shower/bath room, one stand alone; and a separate shower room. The living room opens onto the garden which is ideal in summer, with a nice picnic table, a big barbecue and plenty of greenery. Bikes are welcome & there's space.

Location: very much on the doorstep of Burgess Park's South side, 10 min walk from Camberwell Green & 2 mins walk to Walworth Road where many buses run, covering most of the city. Elephant & Castle tube stop is nearest and about 20 min walk.

You'll be living with 5 others who are all very chilled. We all have different lives and quite busy schedules but any overlap is a pleasure and socialising easy and encouraged. Private space is respected and creates a great shared home and a great place to live.

Bills have never come to more than £60 normally, this includes the occasional group shop for bulk items like toilet paper, cooking oil, washing up products etc.

We rent from a private landlord who is fair and easy to contact. Rent is paid directly; no agencies.

Current housemates wouldn't be opposed to a cat if you have one!
