At the moment we are holding viewings tomorrow afternoon and evening, plus Saturday 2-4pm this week. Hopefully will have more availability.
DESCRIPTION
Unfortunately I will be leaving this very lovely 2 bed 2 bathroom flat on 30 April and I’m looking for someone to replace me. You’ll be sharing with one woman, Dominique. More about her below!
FLATMATE
“My main interests? All things food related, stand-up comedy, reading, swimming, and exploring the world.
I’m easy going and sociable, but I also like my own space.
Living in a respectful and clean environment is a must.
I love going out for dinner & to comedy with my sister & friends, but most weeknights (other than going swimming), I’m at home, so ideally, I’d like to live with a like-minded person. It would be nice to cook and chat over a glass of wine sometimes.”
ROOM AND BATHROOM
The room comes with a double bed, mattress, chest of draws and sliding wardrobe. It has lots of storage space. Since I am moving into my parents, I am happy to leave my desk, computer chair, bookcase, bed frame, mattress topper for a negotiable price.
If not I will dispose of this all before you move in and put back the original bed (although I really recommend getting your bed frame that has under bed space to maximise storage)
You’ll also have your own private bathroom so no waiting! This comes with a toilet, sink and bath and shower.
COMMUNAL AREAS
The flat has a nice sized living room with a tv and decently sized kitchen. You’ll split the cupboard, fridge and freezer space with Dominique. There are also storage cupboards in the flat to put any extra bits.
BILLS
Deposit: £1,121.15
Rent: £1050
Electricity and Gas: £20 - £75 each (depending on the season)
Council Tax: £83.5 each
Internet: £27 each (contract change pending) each
Cleaning: £40 each
Water bill is included in rent.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The flat is ideally situated, with great transport links: it's a 1 minute walk to Rotherhithe station (overground), a 5 minute walk to Canada Water (jubilee line), and also just a minute’s walk from the Thames.
I love living here because it’s right by the river (it's lovely in the summer) and it’s also really central (you can get to anywhere in central London within 30 minutes), but whilst it's a vibrant area with lots of lovely pubs, it still feels relaxed.
