I'm looking for a new flatmate to occupy the second bedroom in a comfortable rented flat on the top floor of a 1930s building near Bethnal Green.

The flat is split across two stories, with two bedrooms and a bathroom (including bath) on the upper floor. The downstairs contains a kitchen with a gas hob, oven and dishwasher, and a large living-room/dining-room. The front door opens onto an external walkway overlooking a shared courtyard.

The room you'd be occupying has a floor space of about 8 metres squared (90 feet) with a double bed, a desk, a decent-sized cupboard for storage, and an east-facing window.

I'm fairly quiet and tidy, and would prefer to live with someone similar aged late 20s-mid 30s. My hobbies including reading and watching films, and the flat has a projector (but no TV).

Rent, council tax and bills add up to approximately £1,050 per month, and the flat is currently in band C for council tax.

The flat is located in Tower Hamlets midway between Broadway Market and Columbia Road with easy access to bus routes and the Central, Northern and Windrush lines. It's also very near to Hackney, Shoreditch and the City, which are a 30-40 minute walk away.

It's a fun place to live, with lots to do and many shops, pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Nearby green spaces include London Fields, Victoria Park and Haggerston Park, all within a 5-10 minute walk.

The flat is comfortable to live in, but because of its age it can get a bit cold in winter, and very hot in summer!

It also has a fairly steep set of stairs inside, and is located on the fourth floor of a building with no lift, so it wouldn't be convenient for someone who has trouble with stairs.
