Your room is on the top floor: light-filled and quiet, with views out over the trees. It’s furnished (inc. a super-king bed&mattress) and ready to move into, with beautiful original wooden floorboards, high ceilings, and the kind of character you only get in an old house like this. Calm, easy to make your own, and a lovely spot to wake up in.

The whole place is properly set up for everyday life and comes fully furnished throughout. There’s a big shared bathroom with a good shower, plus a separate toilet, so the morning rush never really becomes a thing. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d want for cooking properly, dishwasher included, and there’s a comfortable lounge to sink into at the end of the day.

The garden is the real heart of the house! a proper oasis, and a sun trap in summer with a BBQ and fire pit for long evenings outside, plus a heat lamp so it stays usable well into the colder months too. Brilliant for a slow weekend morning with coffee, or having a few people round.

You’d be living with Munie, Derek (M, 29&33) and Insa (F, 28). We’re friendly, easygoing, and tend to share meals, the odd evening in the garden, and a generally relaxed approach to the place. What matters most to us is finding people who’ll treat the house like a real home, look after it, and want to be part of the family we’ve got going here.

Rent and bills:
Rent = £1,850 a month per room
Bills = £200 (all in, and this includes cleaning). That covers gas and electricity, water, council tax, wifi, and a cleaner who comes twice a month for the shared spaces.
We also keep the house stocked with everyday basics — kitchen roll, toilet roll, bin liners, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and cleaning supplies.

Move-in date:
Flexible — can be earlier or later to suit whoever’s the right fit.

Location:
Right in the middle of everything good about this part of London — 7 minutes to Angel station, 5 to Camden Passage’s antiques and cafés, and about 15 to Old Street. Jolene and Pophams are close by for excellent bread and brunch, Duke Organic is just around the corner, and the canal is a short stroll away for walks and weekend wandering.
