We’re looking for two new flatmates to join our spacious 4-bedroom flat right next to Granary Square, in the heart of King’s Cross.
PRACTICAL DETAILS:
- Rooms available from 12 September, although there may be some flexibility if you’d like to move in slightly earlier.
- £1032.50 per month + utilities, which are usually around £50 per month on average.
- Council tax is around £88 per month if there are two workers in the house, or £132 per month if there is only one.
- 5 weeks’ deposit required to confirm the room.
- Minimum stay is 12 months, as this is the contract length we will have with the landlord.
- Both of us are likely looking to extend further. I’ve been living here for 4 years, the landlord has been very nice, and there has never been a rent increase.
- We’re open to both male and female flatmates. We’ve had both in the past, and the main thing for us is finding people who are friendly, respectful, and easy to live with.
The flat has a shared kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, front yard, and back yard, so there is plenty of space to cook, relax, and spend time together.
Currently, we are two PhD students: one French at LSE and one italian at LBS. The vibe of the flat is relaxed and friendly: we like having a chat, sharing a drink or dinner from time to time, and keeping the place clean and comfortable without making it feel boring or overly strict.
The location is one of the best in London: we’re right by Granary Square, Coal Drops Yard, the canal, cafés, restaurants, gyms, supermarkets, and King’s Cross / St Pancras, so transport connections are excellent.
We’re looking for people who would like to make the flat feel like a proper home rather than just a place to sleep. Ideally, you’re tidy, considerate, independent, and happy to be social sometimes while also respecting everyone’s space and routines.
If you’re interested, send us a bit about yourself: what you do, your routine, what you’re looking for in a flat, and when you’d be available to move in.
