I’m subletting my lovely room in our shared house in Bermondsey for around 3 months while I go travelling in Asia.

A bit about me and the room:
Sofia – female / 29 – I’m from Italy and have been living in the UK for the past 10 years. I’m a counsellor and love nature and anything crafty.

The room is furnished with plenty of wardrobe space and storage, and it’s a really cosy and spacious place to come home to.

About the house:
A 4-floor townhouse in Bermondsey with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a bath, one with a shower), a kitchen, living room, guest room/studio space, and a lovely back garden.

The location is great – about a 10-minute walk to both London Bridge station (rail + tube) and Bermondsey tube station (Jubilee line).

I’ve lived in this house for a year and a half and fondly recommend it. The housemates are kind, interesting and welcoming. We’re all friendly, but also respect each other space, so it’s a really nice balance.

The house is well maintained with a relaxed and responsive landlord. We also have a cleaner once a week for the communal areas, and bills are included.

A bit about the housemates:
Paris – male / 36 – breathwork coach, audio/visual artist, DJ, film producer and videographer.
Zedi – female / 34 – interior designer.
Mhairi – female / 30 – actor, dancer and theatre developer.
🐱 Sister – female / 17 – old lady, super cuddly and sleepy.

About you:
We’re looking for someone kind, respectful and easygoing who will fit well with the house. This is very much a homely house rather than a party house, so big house parties aren’t really our thing. Friends and partners popping by are absolutely welcome.

Availability:
The room is available from 13 May until mid-August. Dates can be a little flexible, so please get in touch if it sounds like it could be a good fit!

The viewings will take place between now and April 3rd.
