People are often surprised by the haven-like quality of our small street given that it is so close to good transport links and local amenities. Hence our set-up would suit someone who wants to stay in a peaceful place with good access to Paddington on foot (mainly along a canal path) along with a range of other public transport options for central London.

We are retired university teachers who have travelled widely. We respect people's need to relax and enjoy their own space after work but we are also happy to have a chat over a drink/meal from time to time.
