We are looking for a mature, friendly and reliable woman to share the home of an intelligent, warm older woman with a love of the countryside, horses and gardening. She has a friendly cat. In exchange for low cost accommodation, we ask that you offer around 10 hours of support each week and provide a reassuring overnight presence. We carry out detailed interviews, references and a DBS check.

Please read the Homeshare West website before enquiring to ensure you fully understand the requirements. You must be employed and, where relevant, have the Right to Reside in the UK.

Support would include some cooking and shared meals, occasional food shopping, help with gardening, offering companionship and taking the householder on occasional outings. Someone practical, who loves animals and nature, who has a full driving license would be a great fit.

Homesharing is a lifestyle choice suited to considerate, grounded people who have the energy and willingness to offer support at the end of their working day. If you enjoy shared meals, stimulating conversation, and being part of someone’s life in a positive and meaningful way, we’d love to hear from you.
