My flatmate has just moved out due to work relocation so I'm looking for someone to take over the tenancy - available from the 23rd July!
The flat itself is very spacious, 22nd floor, floor to ceiling windows, modern kitchen and living space, a large balcony which is great for spring/summer. The bedroom for rent is a good size and the main bathroom in the flat is yours to use. There's decent storage space in the flat also. The landlords are very understanding and we've never had a problem and being private we've managed to keep the rent down compared to other flats similar in size and facility.
As for the building, it's definitely one of the nicest I've lived in Manchester so far. The staff and concierges are helpful and personable and the fellow residents get along well.
Downstairs there is a lot of communal space, where people tend to work or study, there is a lounge space that can be booked out for parties/get togethers or social dinners, as well as a large cinema room that we like to book when watching movies or tv shows.
The building also has its own pool, steam room, sauna and 24/7 gym which is great when you want to do some exercise when the weather isn't great outside or simply to relax in after a hectic weekend.
About me: I'm 33 and have lived in Manchester for a few years now. I currently work in a hospitality management role but the hours are more daytime than late and although I will work most Saturdays, I usually am able to go out and enjoy myself socially most evenings. I do focus on some projects outside of work so you may find me chilling around the flat on my laptop and I generally try to be as creative in my social life as much as my work life.
Current things I'm into - music(guitar), running(run clubs), reading, pub quiz's, plants, cooking, snowboarding, 5 a side football, the odd techno/disco boogie and just generally being sociable with my mates; although I do appreciate my own space from time to time. I also enjoy planning the odd little trip to somewhere new when the mood strikes.
Really I'm just a laid back person and I don't take life too seriously, but I still like to consider myself dependable and responsible and like to keep the flat in a tidy, comfortable state. I enjoy meeting people who are open minded and I take pleasure learning as much from others as I enjoy introducing people to interests of my own.
