Hi there,
My style of rental works for people who are disciplined, clean, quiet, focus on studies or work. It’s rented as shared house and not a private flat, so to be comfortable living in this house, I looked for someone who is willing to think of others using the shared facilities- whether long term or short term.
Successful group of mature students / professionals sharing home together.
There are 2 double rooms available for £600/ month. One is available now.
1 room can be Ensuite ( £650/ month).

Description:
The house is a 4 bed end terrace, 4 car parking area. massive garden, you will feel comfort because of surroundings. Easy commute.
The house is located just south of Plattfields park on a quiet cul de sac.
It's a modern house and there’s a combined multi purpose room (kitchen /diner / seating area ).
Note: Single occupancy in the room, no drugs, non smoking, no alcohol binging, no criminal activities. Not for full 5 days of WFH employees, few days is fine.
Students can study from home everyday as normal use.
A locked shed for bikes.
About Bathrooms: 3 1/2.
1 Ensuite bathroom for rent, it is a private ground floor bathroom. So, just add £50/month ( shower, toilet, sink, it cost £5000 to build it) as to explain why £50 is added per month.
1 shared bathroom upstairs for lodgers. Maximum 3 users but mostly 2 only as there’s ensuite for rent and I have 1 1/2 private bathroom in my rooms too. For emergencies, you can use.
Payments:
Zero deposit , 1 month advance first month rent and end of the month paid in advance . Total £1200 to pay on first day you move in. So, all bills are inclusive unless the bills don’t exceed our normal daily use.
Only extra bill to pay, Council tax( equal share to pay but full time students are exempted.
Guide only: quiet at times (preferred regular working hours of 9-5 pm, no midnight shift
I personally is happy with happy home noises.
The house is ready to calm at 10 pm for people who work early morning). Friday to Saturday evening is very relaxing.
Washing and drier - machine starts at 7 am to 9 pm only.
Bills are included on £600 but read below:
Please use the energy supply at acceptable use, so I will continue the bills to be inclusive( review in Year 2026 August). So far, all my lodgers are enjoying bills included due to normal usage of services- water, gas, electric. The WiFi is fixed price.
These prices are just guide for bills in the current 4 bed house which is offered free for 8 months.
Approximate:
council tax- £1162/ month divided by 3 people it’s around £54/ person .
NOTE : bills were divided by 3 or 4 The gas, water and electric varies
Gas is £35- £160/ month ( good and extreme weather. Electric is £35-£150.
Water is metered £36- £70 per month.
Wifi is fixed £28/month divided for 4 users..
Once again, bills are inclusive for 8 months and to be reviewed. it has been free for more than a year now because the budget given is very generous on energy usage. I have not increased rent for past 2- 3 years.
Reason why deposit is Zero- It’s a clean house, so it’s expected you to keep the place tidy and safe, chores every weekend ( 15 minutes cleaning). These refers to washing dishes, wipe dry and put it away leaving the sink clean for the next person to use it. If followed. NOTE: SAFE- there are set rules on safety and it’s easy to follow as you are guided at the beginning. So, deposit is not required and you are not worried you will loose it as you as a lodger maintains the house in order everyday.
