We have a room coming up in a cosy home located in a leafy part of Whalley Range. You’d be sharing with me, Yaron, a PhD researcher working on Co-operatives at MMU. I'm left-leaning (whatever that means), love cooking, hiking, bouldering, dancing, etc., etc. I'm entering the 3rd and final (fingers crossed) year of my PhD, which means I'm less sociable than I would be normally, but still always up for socialising in the evenings.

YOU: You are sociable and chatty, yet with a hint of cynical misanthropy, up for eating together from time to time, and happy to keep things fairly quiet on school nights.

THE ROOM: Very large and comes furnished with a double bed, a large desk and a clothes rack

THE HOUSE: The house is lovely, has a south-facing garden, and during the summer months all the neighbourhood cats regularly drop by to say hello and to make life seem worthwhile.

The landlord, Mark, works in France at the moment and may be back a for a weekend or two over the next year. He might also bring his 8-year old child with him. He’s also planning on selling the house after the summer, so this won’t be a long-term let.
