The flat is in a good location: the Fountain Park entertainment hub is a five-minute walk away (0.4 miles); Haymarket Train Station is a fifteen-minute walk (0.8 miles) and has a direct bus or tram to Edinburgh International Airport; and, the Grassmarket (Old Town) is a thirty-minute walk (1.3 miles).

The area has direct and frequent buses (i. e., 1, 2, 3, 4, 22, 25, 33, 34, 35 & 44) to the city centre and all major Fringe venues including EICC (1 mile/15 mins. bus), Underbelly Cowgate (1.5 miles/25 mins. bus), Assembly George Square Gardens (1.7 miles/30 mins. bus), and Pleasance Courtyard (2 miles/30 mins. bus).
