We have a large furnished double room with its own private bathroom available in our beautiful Victorian home in Telegraph Hill.
The rent is £1,200 pcm, including all bills, Wi-Fi, Sky/streaming services and a weekly cleaner.
The house
It's a spacious Victorian home with a large living room, dining room, kitchen and garden, so there's plenty of communal space as well as room to do your own thing.
Us
We're a couple, Tom and Patrick, both in our 30s, and we live here with our current lodger Sam, who works in music. We're a friendly, sociable household but all have our own lives too, so there's a nice balance between hanging out together and having your own space.
We're into music, food, travel, gardening and the occasional night out. Our tastes range from Beyoncé to opera and Mighty Hoopla, so it's a pretty broad church.
We also have a very friendly 11-year-old beagle, so you'll need to be happy living with a dog.
We're looking for someone friendly, considerate and tidy who wants to feel at home rather than simply rent a room. We enjoy the occasional dinner, drink or chat together, while also respecting everyone's space and privacy.
The area
Telegraph Hill is a lovely, leafy part of SE London with parks, pubs, cafés and restaurants nearby. Queens Road Peckham, New Cross Gate and Nunhead stations are within easy reach, with good connections into central London.
