We have a large double room to rent in our house in Newbiggin by the sea. Currently the room has a double bed, bedside tables, a TV spare in the office if needed for the room, a dressing table with drawers, a click clack sofa bed for sitting in or if guests, and a clothes rail, but happy to look for other furniture if required.

Our last lodger Stuart happily moved in with his girlfriend then we had some time off as had a baby! He’s now past the sleepless nights stage at 18 months old so he’s no bother.

We are Rachel, 37, I work for a media tech company (in London but remotely with some trips to the office) Baby, he’s very cute.
And Anis, 31, he is working as a forklift driver and he enjoys sports and photography.
We have two dogs Lola goldendoodle and Daisy chihuahua.

The house is a large 5 bed Victorian house - but a work in progress as we renovated so still a little finishing touches to decor to be made.
There’s a large front garden and small patio yard with milk lights, heater, bbq great for relaxing, you can hear the waves of the north sea at night there.

We’re looking for a tidy, considerate housemate, who loves pets (as while they don’t go up to the spare rooms they will try to get cuddles from you when you’re in the living room or kitchen etc)
Ideally a professional like myself but I’m open to anyone who wants to view, it’s more important that we think we would get along as I appreciate its a full house with a baby and pets so it would require someone who felt comfortable renting a room in this family environment.

We have Netflix and all the channels, and virgin media fastest broadband. There is on street parking in the quiet lane behind the house. The house is one street back from the promenade and sea.

There is only one bathroom which is why I’ve listed no to couples but I could consider if this wasn’t an issue.

Newbiggin is a lovely community to live in and we feel incredibly lucky to live in such a beautiful area.
