I’m looking for a tidy, easy-going professional to rent a room in my home in Glan Llyn, Newport (NP19). I work full-time, usually from home, so the house is generally quiet during the week and relaxed in the evenings.

The room is a good size and the photos show how it looks at the moment. Room has a desk and extra storage (cupboard and wardrobe), so you’ll have a proper workspace and plenty of room for your things.

You’ll share the kitchen and living room with me, and you’ll have use of the family bathroom pretty much to yourself – I normally use the other bathroom with a shower and only use the family one occasionally. The family bathroom is also has glass shower screen over the bath.

The house has 500Mb/s Wi-Fi, a washer-dryer and a driveway. You’re welcome to use the driveway for parking for now; in future we may need it for our second car, but there is plenty of free on-street parking around the house.

Glan Llyn is a modern, quiet estate close to Newport Retail Park and Spytty Road (around a 10–15 minute walk). There are regular buses into Newport city centre, and it’s a short drive to Junction 24 of the M4, giving easy access to Cardiff and Bristol. Newport train station is a quick drive or bus ride away with direct trains to Cardiff, Bristol and London.

I’m looking for someone respectful and clean who is happy with a friendly, calm home – more nights in than partying.
