The apartment is a much loved Scandi inspired one bed apartment, tucked away on Fernhill road, Newquay.
It’s available on a 6 - 7 month term whilst my partner and I are travelling.
We are back in April, and so are looking for someone who genuinely needs a place until spring rather than a long term home. That might be a seasonal contract, a gap between selling and buying, a renovation, or a move to Cornwall where you want a base while you find somewhere permanent.
Fernhill road is is on a remarkably quiet residential street in Newquay. It's few minutes walk from the high street, Sainsbury's and the Harbour/ Towan beach.
Walk a few minutes more in the opposite direction and you will be on Fistral. It's a great location.
The apartment is fully furnished (all our personal bits are removed) and so will be ready to move into for someone with minimal effort.
The accommodation:
In the living space there is a 3 person sofa, a 40" smart TV, dining table and a couple chairs. Plenty of plants which we can leave if the new tenant wishes.
A bay window at the end of the main living space let's in loads of light. It's a nice spot to work from, especially in the morning.
We built the kitchen around custom laminated plywood worktops and it comes fully stocked with plates, cutlery, glasses, coffee stuff, pots and pans, and includes a dishwasher and washing machine.
The bedroom is fairly small, but there's a rail and loads of roll out storage under the bed and some custom built hanging space on rollers.
The bathroom has a rain shower and a separate hand held shower head and everything else you might expect to be in a bathroom.
The apartment is a nice environment to be in. It's not huge, but it is open and light, and (we think) furnished nicely.
There is gas central heating so no crazy electricity bills during the winter.
Outside there is parking available, and a communal south facing courtyard to the rear.
You'll have a top up card for your own electricity and gas, so you can use as little or as much as you like. We use about £30 electricity and £20 gas per month (2x people).
For wifi we can either keep the existing one in place or you can organise your own (works off a data sim card, it’s unlimited and costs £25 a month).
