We (my partner) and I live in a beautiful flat in North Berwick. We are looking for a lodger for up to 6 months from November - April 2027.

A bit about us - I'm a chef and work in a local cafe in North Berwick, and my partner is a civil servant. He works from home most days, but may be in Edinburgh 1-2 days a week.

A bit about the flat - it is located less than a 10 minute walk to North Berwick train station with regular trains into Edinburgh Waverly, 10 minute walk onto the high street where there is a Coop and Nisa, and 25 minute walk to Aldi/Tesco. The flat has 360 degree views across North Berwick, and is 2 minutes from the beach, with great walks in either direction.

A bit about the room - the room is currently used as a second living room - it is a very good sized room as you can see from the photos, but we would add in a double bed and/or desk if required. The bathroom while not an en suite would be primarily your own bathroom and is beautiful, with westerly views across the forth.

To note - we may have family/friends come and stay with us over the lodging period so you would need to be comfortable with other people being in the flat. We are pretty tidy, enjoy walks, the pub and lots of good food.

We are keen to hear from anyone interested and would be willing to discuss the room etc. if you have any specific requirements.
