~~~ About the room/flat/area ~~~

The room is the big double (mine is the small second room). It has a garden view with big windows and a door to the private garden. It has its own secluded space at the back of flat, with the bathroom next to it.

There’s a double bed with storage underneath; a really big wardrobe with mirror and lots of storage; and a big chest of drawers.

NOTE: the photos are from an old ad, I will update the photos ASAP.

The flat now has some different furniture, as well as beautiful blue painted feature walls. The living room has my vinyl record collection + turntable/hifi system, and a TV.

The garden needs a fair bit of work over the summer! It is NOT looking as good as the photo! (but you can see its potential...) At the front, there aren't plants any more, but I plan to add some again at some point, like in the photo.

The area is a residential pocket of Tottenham next to two great parks with lovely cafes, woods, water and wildlife. Real community vibe. About 13min walk to Seven Sisters, which is well connected with Victoria line & overground.

Across the road there's a little speakeasy-type cocktail bar and restaurant that does open mic nights, quiz nights, etc. There are nice pubs in the area (e. g. The Palm & True Craft) and a good independent supermarket down the road. The best Turkish food in the country is also nearby (Green Lanes).

Bills are about £150 in summer and about £200 in winter. This includes council tax (band B), gas, electric, water, wifi, TV licence and garden waste.

After many years of living a party life, plus some major life events, I'm now sober and practicing healthy living.

I currently work for a charity Mon-Thurs and DJ most weekends on Fri/Sat nights. I've also started life coaching on the side, helping other people to go sober.
I work from home at the moment – ideally from the living room – so, for balance, ideally you'd work outside of the house. But if you work from home, we can make it work (I can work from my bedroom).

I keep the flat clean and tidy (but lived in) and like a good cook up and film night from time to time.

I'm looking for someone who understands my situation and wouldn't encourage drinking, etc. You don't have to be sober, but you would need to be mindful of where I'm at. If you're in the same boat, bonus!

Ideally you’d be into gardening (or at least keen to learn!). I'm in the process of learning and spending more time in the garden. There's scope to plant lots of new things, which is exciting.

You're very welcome to have friends round etc. Just more dinner/bbq vibes than parties :)

Hopefully, like me, you'd want it to be a case of friends living together as opposed to just housemates.
