Hello, l am looking for a friendly, clean and considerate professional person who is only occasionally working from home, to share a beautiful, clean' light and airy first-floor, two bedroom maisonette flat in Bowes Park area (in Haringey council).

Our road is a peaceful, tree-lined street, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Green Lanes, yet a short distance away from Wood Green underground station, Bounds Green underground station or Bowes Park train station. The nearby area is very cute, with many independent shops, restaurants, amenities and green spaces.

The room on offer (Bedroom 2) is facing South and has a view of the back gardens. It is partly furnished; with a bed frame (and you would need to buy your own mattress), a beautiful wooden closet and one of the black bookcases that are currently shown in the livingroom. The dressing table shown in the picture will be removed, so you could replace it with a small desk if you wanted. We could perhaps rearrange any of the other pieces of furnitire around the house to suit your needs and bedding could also be arranged. If you prefer your room to be unfurnished, this is also possible.

There's also a very handy small utility room with a clothes hanger and shelves to store suitcases, coats, extra shoes e. t. c.

There's a beautiful shared livingroom, - where l will put my desk and will be working 3 days per week (during normal working hours), so it would be best if you only worked occasionally from home (max two days per week). One of the black bookcases shown in the picture is being removed and the second will go in your room, so only two bookcases will remain, which will create some space for a sofa bed.

The kitchen has all amenities, including a table and a brand new fridge/freezer.

There's one bathroom (with a bathtab).

Finally we have a beautiful, south-facing, private garden, accessible via a staircase.

The monthly bills per person are estimated to around 160-170 GPB.

You'll be sharing the flat with me, who will also be moving in shortly. I am an editor working for a Biology journal in a publishing house with a PhD in Molecular Biology and research experience. I go to the office twice a week (at not set days) and l am often away (every 1.5-2 months), for work or visiting family, so you'll have the flat for yourself frequently.

Other than that l enjoy listening to music, taking pictures of people and situations and when alone I scratch my violin. Sometimes I also make arty things at home or as part of a course, and in the weekends l am out and about, with friends or alone, going for coffee, visiting markets, exhibitions, events, gigs, e. t. c.

I am friendly and discreet. Generally happy chatting over cooking a meal and sharing the occasional glass of wine. I am interested in many things, and will look to find common ground for discussions. I also value my privacy and will respect yours.

Finally, I enjoy a clean and uncluttered home, especially in the kitchen and bathroom, so looking for similar people who will keeping shared spaces clean and tidy, so that everyone feels comfortable.
