We are currently on the hunt for a housemate to join us in our three bed house in Finsbury Park from the start of August.

About Us

We are two guys 28-31s working in advertising and the government looking for someone around a similar age with similar interests. Generally tidy people, who love cooking, pub trips, cycling, & music to name a few. We do a mixture of working in the office and working from home, so if you have a similar hybrid setup/work from home a lot that isn’t a problem at all.

The House

Situated on a residential road just off Seven Sisters Road, the house is full of character and charm, with high ceilings across all three floors (particularly on the raised ground floor). Large joined kitchen and living room provides ample space for three people to live together, with a 50 foot garden on the back of the house which (unsurprisingly) gets a lot of use in the summer!

In terms of spaces we have a large joined kitchen and living room on the raised ground floor which gets plenty of natural light, a small downstairs loo with the washing machine alongside a main bathroom on the top floor with a large walk in shower and separate bath.

The house is connected up to fibre from an internet perspective, so super fast internet is reachable across all areas of the house. As an older house it benefits from staying fairly cool in the summer, whilst having really effective central heating which warms the house up really quickly.

The Room

The available room sits on the 2nd floor at the top of the house with a large balcony attached to it. Really bright space that gets plenty of sun in the summer! Rooms comes with a bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and outside seating.

The area

For those not familiar with the Finsbury Park area, it’s a bustling area full of bars, pubs and places to eat. We have three large supermarkets within a 10 minute walk, and numerous pubs within the same radius that we visit regularly. Three gyms are within walking distance too that are fairly priced if you’re into fitness.

One of the best things about the location is the transport links from Finsbury Park station (8 min walk):

Regular thameslink services into the city that go as far as brighton in the south (via Gatwick airport) and up to Luton airport to the north

Victoria/Piccadilly line trains every 2-3 minutes (Oxford circus 13 mins on a direct Victoria line train)

East is very accessible, going one stop to highbury and islington then changing for the overground to Shoreditch and beyond.

In terms of management we have a direct relationship with the landlord (no estate agents), a lovely couple who live in Crouch end. They are excellent in sorting any issues with the house very quickly but overall leave us to it, so an ideal set up.

Outside of the rent, bills have been netting out at roughly £150 per head that covers everything.
