A large, very comfortable, fully furnished, first floor double room in my spacious, three-storey house in Muswell Hill.

I'm looking for someone who needs a London base for about four nights during the week and am happy to discuss the use of other rooms within the house: kitchen, utility room, living rooms, private bathroom, etc. I am also prepare to discuss the level of rent depending on your requirements. The quoted rent is based on four nights per week.

Happy to provide bedding, towels, use of kitchen equipment, etc, to make things as straightforward as possible for you.

My main reason for not advertising the room on a full-time basis is due to the slightly restricted level of available storage space in the room. Having said this, I have hosted a number of full-time lodgers for whom the room has worked very successfully and I am entirely confident that things can work just as successfully for a new prospective lodger. On a full-time basis I am prepared to offer the room at just £1,000.00 per calendar month.

Besides myself, I have one other lodger here, Olivia, in her twenties and occupying a smaller spare room within the house.

My house is situated in a very leafy, quiet, safe and friendly location, about two minutes' walk from a W7 bus stop, the bus taking about 14 - 15 minutes to reach Finsbury Park Station (Piccadilly and Victoria Tube Lines, also National Rail) These buses run every few minutes during the day, as well as less frequently throughout the night.. Closer still is Crouch Hill Station (Overground). Alternatively, Highgate Tube Station (Northern Line) is accessible via a short bus ride or a brisk walk !

Happy to chat and socialise in the evenings, or leave you quietly to your own devices - entirely as you wish. I enjoy cooking each evening, often whilst listening to the evening concert on Radio 3 or the news on Radio 4. (In the car it's more likely to be Absolute 80s !) My 29 year old niece is also a regular overnight visitor.

I always aim to keep the house clean and tidy and, naturally, would expect the same from anyone else. It is professionally cleaned every week.

The area has an abundance of green spaces - almost like living in the countryside rather than a London suburb ! The large variety of shops of both Muswell Hill and Crouch End are within easy walking distance, in addition to a couple of early/late opening food shops within about three minutes' walk of my house.
