I’m looking for a female lodger to rent the spare room in my two-bed flat. It is a spatious, furnished double room (double bed, desk and built-in wardrobe) and the flat has a shared living/ dining room, kitchen and bathroom.
Rent: £520 per month, utility bills (electricity, wifi, water) included.
Council tax: if the lodger is a full-time student then the household will be council tax exempt. If the lodger is not a student they will be responsible for paying the total council tax bill, which is band B, discounted 25%. Total rent at the advertised rate + council tax would therefore be £630 pm. **However I am willing to consider sensible offers**
The flat is in a really convenient city-centre location, ideal for someone anyone who works in the city centre, at the university or who gets the train frequently:
• 10 mins walk to the train station
• 5-10 mins walk to the bus stops on Red Lion Street (where you can get buses to UEA, Norwich Research Park and the Hospital)
• 10-15 mins walk to Sainsburys, Morrisons and the Riverside Retail Park
• Short walk to the main shopping streets, cinemas, restaurants
• ~20 min cycle to UEA
There is no parking available but the building does have a secure bike-storage area. Enterprise car club, beryl hire-bikes and hire-scooters are available right outside the building.
I own the flat and am the only resident. I am a 26 year-old, female PhD student. I like nature, crafts, books, museums, quizzes and vegan cooking.
A potential lodger must be a non-smoker/vaper and either female or non-binary.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
