The house is large/comfortable/homely. It is a large Edwardian house with many of its original fixtures . It has stripped floors throughout, wood burning fireplace in the front room ,huge open plan kitchen, with nice appliances. The rooms are neutrally decorated, large, light and well maintained and furnished albeit with antique/vintage/retro/up-cycle d furniture, the rest of the house has modern spec/ fixtures and fittings. The kitchen and bathrooms and separate shower rooms are up to modern requirements . There is a relaxed atmosphere . We all have our own individual lives away from home. We are all reasonably well adjusted and house trained, and we do not do rotas and we are not OCD either ( although we do love the programme on channel 4!). If we are in and watching something we may well have a glass or two . We all understand that sometimes ones individual privacy is paramount . These are important aspects for a balanced group of adults living under one roof. There is enough space to have privacy if that is required. . We have a mix of employment one Antique/salvage dealer , one Hypnotherapy care professional and one Accountant. If we were to be politically labelled we would be on the Centre Left spectrum . We are all sociable and positive people in general . The house is up to modern standards but full of antique things (not including the people). Very large kitchen , large living rooms , Wi-fi throughout, separate shower room ,separate bathroom ,additional separate WCs. For green space there is an Allotment (with available plots) minutes away and a Country park a bit further . For Spiritual needs we have a Krisna temple 2 minutes walk away and a Church or there is an off licence at the end of the road! .There is now one new pub /restaurant which is quite good. Rumour has it that there is a Costatheearth opening soon on the High street . Im not sure if that is good or bad . There are plenty of other Shops and a leisure centre within walking distance. Central/East Croydon is 15 minutes away. Bus, Tram and train station 10 mins walk away. Journey times to central London approx 30 mins(London Bridge)when the Choo -Choo runs on time. Public spaces are within walking distance. Garden at the back of the house is currently having some work done to it so it is like an Homage to the First world war at the moment. We are a pet friendly household. The dog and cat that live here brought there own hoomans with them Anything else please ask . If this is of any interest we have photos also.
