Furnished Double Room with Private Bathroom – Short-Term Let (Most of the Time, Flat to Yourself)

A fully furnished spare double bedroom with its own private bathroom is available from 17 September 2026 until 17 January 2027.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, desk and office chair, making it suitable for someone working or studying from home. You will also have your own private bathroom, with a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin.

You will have full use of the shared areas of the flat, including a spacious and bright living/dining room with a large sofa, dining table, wall-mounted TV, plants and artwork, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, air fryer/, slow cooker, blender, kettle and other usual appliances.

All bills are included in the rent, including Council Tax, electricity, water and fast Wi-Fi.

An important feature of the arrangement is that I will be travelling for much of the rental period, so for substantial periods you will effectively have the flat to yourself. My own bedroom and home office will remain private and will not be available for use, but you will have exclusive use of your bedroom and bathroom and full use of the kitchen and living/dining room.

Based on my current travel schedule, I expect to be in the flat only around:
• 17–18 September
• 24–25 September
• 1–9 October and 11–13 October
• 3–13 December
• 1–17 January

Between 1 and 17 January, I will be staying in the flat together with my girlfriend. For the remainder of the rental period, I will generally be abroad, meaning that you will have the main living areas of the flat largely to yourself.

I am a lawyer and spend quite a lot of time travelling. Outside work, I am particularly interested in travel, languages and sport, and I am looking for someone respectful, clean and reliable who will treat the flat as their own while I am away.

The flat is bright, tidy and comfortable, with plenty of natural light and a relaxed, homely feel. It would suit a professional, postgraduate student or someone looking for a medium-term stay in a well-kept home rather than a typical house share.

The flat is also very conveniently located. It is around a 5-minute walk from bus stops with connections to the city centre, approximately a 10-minute walk from Nottingham City Hospital, and only about a 3-minute walk from a local Co-op and Post Office.

This makes it particularly convenient for professionals, hospital staff, postgraduate students or anyone who wants easy access to everyday amenities and transport links.

In-person viewings are required and can be arranged from 7 September 2026. I would prefer prospective lodgers to view the flat in person before agreeing to the arrangement. However, in limited circumstances where an in-person viewing is genuinely not possible, an online/video viewing may be arranged.

The initial rental period runs until 17 January 2027, but there may also be an opportunity to extend the arrangement beyond that date if both parties are happy with how things are working.
