Hello there,
We are looking for someone to take over a spacious double room in a lovely existing flatshare in Highbury & Islington. You would be sharing with one other person in a calm, well-kept third-floor flat located less than 5 minutes from Highbury & Islington station and within easy reach of Upper Street, Highbury Fields, Newington Green/Clissold, and Canonbury Square right on your doorstep.
The room itself is very generously sized with excellent built-in wardrobe storage across two walls; it's the biggest I have had since moving to London with about 18sqm/190sqft of surface area. The flat also has a large shared lounge, large bathroom, and access to a lovely shared garden. It is very generously spaced and I am sure that for the price it would be difficult to find anything that compares to it.
The current flatmate is a 35-year-old musician and composer originally from Los Angeles who has lived in London for several years. He is tidy, respectful, easy-going, and keen to maintain a warm, peaceful home environment where both people contribute to making the space welcoming and comfortable. There is also a fortnightly cleaner.
The area is incredibly well connected, with great cafés, pubs, restaurants, gyms, and transport links nearby.
I am only moving out after 3 years because I recently bought my own place — otherwise I would happily have stayed much longer.
Happy to share more information and arrange viewings this week and next.
