I'm moving out of my lovely flatshare in East London and am looking for a female flatmate, who is ideally a professional, to replace me in the tenancy. The room is a gorgeous double room on the top floor of an East Village Townhouse.

The room is quite big for the price, I have managed to fit a standing desk, alongside the existing double bed, chest of drawers, and three-door wardrobe with plenty of space to walk around. The room has floor to ceiling windows and additional storage on the landing just outside the room. There is a bathroom just outside the room with a tub and shower facilities and ample storage behind the mirrors, you'll get a whole side to yourself. You will be sharing the bathroom on the top floor and the additional storage on the landing with one other flatmate. The room comes with the photographed bed frame, the chest of drawers, bedside tables, and a mattress. The common areas are furnished. The kitchen features a dishwasher, electric hob, fridge, microwave, air fryer and opens into a lovely patio that leads to a resident-only courtyard. The whole flat comes with underfloor heating.

A little about the flatmates: The girls who live in the flat are super sweet and respectful of personal space. They are 27 and 29 years old females and working full time in demanding jobs. They are super social and live planning a girls night in but they equally like their own space and respect that everyone needs downtime, especially given how intense their jobs can be. Both of them goes in to work all three days a week and WFH the other two days. This is not a party flat, though we do love a good wine and cheese night.

The flat is ideally located only a 7 minute walk from Stratford station, 5 minutes from Stratford international and 7 minutes from Westfield mall, 2 minutes from the local GP and has plenty of bus stops, grocery stores, and cafés nearby. Queen Elizabeth Park and the Olmypic facilities are also only a 10-15 minute walk away.

WiFi is included in the rent. The other bills (council tax, water, gas, electricity) add up to around £120 in the summer and £150 in the winter. The room will be available for move-in from the 9th of December, 2026.
