I'm looking for a friendly, respectful young professional to take over my room in a clean, quiet and sociable flat in East Village, Stratford. The household is made up of two professionals working in finance, so the flat has a good balance of being calm during the week while still being social and easy-going.

The ideal flatmate would be someone clean, considerate and mature, but also someone who enjoys a chat, going out for drinks, watching films, shopping, playing video games, or just chilling in the living room after work. It would suit someone ambitious and career-focused, but also relaxed and fun to live with. The vibe of the flat is very much young professionals trying to do the next big thing in life, while keeping home comfortable and peaceful. We often gather in the living room and just chill, or cook together! We have a 50 inch tv with a sound system in the living room too! The bathroom is shared with 1 flatmate. The desk, chair, and shoe boxes will be included unless not wanted!

The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood in East Village, with a lot of the building also occupied by young professionals. People are generally friendly and talkative in the common areas, so it has a nice community feel without being loud or overwhelming. Get Living also hosts monthly resident events, which is a great way to meet people locally.

Location-wise, it’s excellent. You’re less than a 5-minute walk from Sainsbury’s, around 5 to 7 minutes from Stratford Station, and right next to Westfield Stratford, so shopping, restaurants, gyms, transport links and everyday essentials are all incredibly convenient.

Internet is included in the rent, but utilities are not included. Garage parking is also available directly from the apartment owner for an additional £50 per month. Washer & dryer is in the flat, alongside a dishwasher and in-floor heating for winters!

There will be a standing desk included in the room, alongside a chair and bedside lamp!
