Calm friendly home.
Thank you for looking at the ad for this lovely spacious room.
The rent includes all the bills and WiFi, no hidden extras. For a couple he rent would increase to £900 per calendar month.
The room has a double bed with a brand-new mattress, a desk/dressing table and computer chair. Wardrobe, bedside tables, a chest of draws and new blackout curtains.
The location is perfect for the Churchill Hospital, just minutes to the Old Road Campus and the Nuffield Hospital. A short walk to Brookes Uni, the Warnsford Hospital and South Park. Less than 10 mins walk to the bustling Headington Shops and farmers market.
There is a bus stop at the end of the close for the 15 and U5, direct into the heart Oxford City Centre and the train station in 10 mins. If you cycle this is only 15 minutes!
There are plenty of beautiful places to walk near here, we are blessed. Lye Valley Nature Reserve is a couple of minutes walk, Brasenose and Warnsford Woods are also a few minutes away. This includes the hidden gem of countryside in the city, Shotover National Park which I would highly recommend visiting. For keen cyclists it's a short bike to some wonderful routes in the countryside of Oxford.
You will be sharing with myself and a very friendly couple, although I'm not here often, I am contactable straight away if there are any issues. We all make an effort to be supportive and respective of each other's space. I'm the best landlady you could wish to meet (or so I've been told - I can give references). I've lived in Oxford for over 20 years, so I know my way around and I'm happy to help in anyway I can if you are new to the area. This would be your home, no silly rules, and you are welcome to have guests, treat the home as it's yours, because it is.
I'm very happy to do a virtual guided tour and meet you over WhatsApp or Messenger.
It's worth mentioning I have the most adorable little dog, who is very friendly and very well trained, he'll only go in your room if you want him to. He's a great little character. If you're not into dogs, he will leave you alone. if you are - expect lots of cuddles and a warm welcome when you get home.
I think I've covered it all, but if you have any questions, please give me a shout. If you come to live here or not, I wish you every success in finding your perfect home.
All the very best, Cathy
