I am sadly leaving Oxford this summer, meaning a small double room in a lovely all-girl terraced house between Iffley road and Cowley road will soon become available! The house has the perfect location and sits on Hurst street, with 5 minutes walk to Tesco and 2 minutes to the nearest pub (the rusty bicycle). We are also close to the Iffley road sports center, and to Magdalen road with all its cafes and shops. 🤸🏼‍♀️🌸 Oxford city centre is 20 minutes away on foot, 5 minutes by bike, and there are bus stops on both Cowley and Iffley road less than 5 minutes from the house.
Dates for moving in are flexible between the end of July and beginning of August.
The house has four bedrooms, a shared kitchen and living room, and a lovely large bathroom with separate shower and bath tub. 🧼🛁 There is also a big garden with outdoor dining furniture (and a paddling pool for the occasional heatwave). The bedroom comes furnished with a small double bed, nightstand, desk+chair, built-in wardrobe and large chest of drawers.
You will be sharing the house with 3 girls in their mid-twenties, all working full time (with one also studying part time at the uni of Oxford). Professionals and postgrads welcome, but bear in mind you will have to contribute to council tax either way! Bills are not included in the rent and tend to come to around 100-200 per month (incl council tax).
This is a very social house - we all enjoy each other’s company and like to hang out on evenings and weekends when we are free.
