We have a lovely modern double room available in our well-maintained and fully furnished flat, right next to Burgess Park.

The flat is bright, comfortable and furnished throughout. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a microwave, two fridge/freezers, toaster, kettle and washing machine.

There are two modern bathrooms, both with toilets and excellent high-pressure showers – a real advantage in a shared flat.

Everything is kept clean and tidy, with a cleaner visiting once a week to clean all the communal areas.

Location

The flat is in SE15 6QE, right next to Burgess Park, one of South London's largest green spaces – giving you a fantastic combination of outdoor space and easy access to Central London.

Burgess Park is quite literally on your doorstep and offers a huge amount of green space for walking, running, cycling, exercising or simply relaxing outdoors. The park also has sports facilities, tennis courts, outdoor gyms, a BMX track, fishing areas, picnic and BBQ facilities and a café.

Transport connections are excellent. The nearest bus stop is only around two minutes' walk from the flat, and the 363 provides a direct connection to Elephant & Castle, which can be reached in approximately 10–15 minutes by bus.

Elephant & Castle is in Zone 1 and provides excellent Underground and National Rail connections, making it very convenient for travelling into Central London and across the city.

There are also numerous other bus routes around Burgess Park, with connections towards Elephant & Castle, London Bridge, the City and other parts of Central London.

The location gives you the best of both worlds: a large park immediately outside your door while still being within easy reach of the restaurants, shops, bars and amenities of Peckham, Camberwell, Walworth and Elephant & Castle.

The Room & Flatmates

The double bedroom comes fully furnished with everything shown in the photographs, including a double bed, wardrobe, tall chest of drawers, table, chair and other bedroom furniture.

It is a comfortable, well-furnished room in a clean and well-maintained home.

This is a five-bedroom flat, so you would be sharing with four other flatmates. The current flatmates are all working professionals: three men aged 24, 29 and 39, and one woman aged 35.

The flat would ideally suit a non-smoking professional or international student looking for clean, comfortable and well-maintained surroundings with easy access to Central London.

Please note that the room is for single occupancy only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept couples.

Rent & Bills

The rent is £210 per week (£910 per calendar month) and includes:

Weekly cleaning of the communal areas

There are no additional household bills to pay.

The total deposit is equivalent to four weeks' rent (£840) and will be protected through the government-backed Deposit Protection Service (DPS).

To reserve the room, you would initially pay £210, equivalent to one week's rent. One day before you move in, you would then pay:

£630 – the remaining three weeks of the deposit
£910 – your first month's rent in advance

Length of Stay

The minimum stay is one month, and we require one month's notice when you decide to leave.
