The IKEA desk has its own desk lamp, and a rechargeable reading light is provided beside the bed, making the room suitable for both working and relaxing.

The large shared shower room with basin, mirror, electric shower and toilet is just across the landing. There is also shared use of the well-equipped kitchen, including an oven, air fryer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle and toaster. The lodger has their own designated space in the fridge/freezer and a kitchen cupboard.
