Hi! We’re Rachel, 31, a journalist, and Jamie, 32, a doctor. We’re a friendly professional couple with two very lovable sausage dogs, and we’re looking to rent out our top-floor double room in our lovely home in Plaistow/Canning Town.

We live in a modern, recently renovated 3-bed house with a shared open-plan kitchen/living space and garden.

3-minute walk to Tesco Express
Around 15 minutes to Upton Park and Plaistow stations (Zone 3)
10–15 minute bus to Canning Town (Zone 2), with easy access to the Jubilee Line and DLR
Around 20 minutes to Canary Wharf

We’re open to both short-term and Monday–Friday lets, so it would suit someone working in London during the week or looking for a convenient base for a shorter stint. Looking for £800–£900 pcm depending on the length of stay. Get in touch with your dates and we can chat about the price.

We do have two small, friendly dogs, so you’ll need to be comfortable living with dogs.
