This house has a choice of 6 rooms, 5 genuinely large double rooms and one smaller double room (all double beds). The place is well located within a residential neighbourhood (on the cusp of Greenbank, Lipson and St Judes), close to bus routes and within 5 to 10 minutes walk of the City Centre. May Terrace is a quiet street, no buses come down the street (nearby major bus routes are on Lipson Road and Greenbank Road, within 2 minute walk) and its not a 'rat run' at busy times either. It benefits from a rear yard with external storage for bikes, surfboards and the like. The kitchen is well appointed with washing machine, tumble dryer, double electric oven and 5 burner gas hob. In the large communal room there are good sized comfortable sofas and a large wall mounted TV (TV Licence included).
All rooms are furnished with a double wardrobe, chest of drawers or mirrored shelved unit equivalent, bedside unit, double bed, desk and chair. The rates include all bills including council tax.
Prefer working/professional and occasionally mature students will be considered (we have other property available for undergrad student applicants).
The £300 security deposit is held throughout the term of the tenancy, secured within the government authorised Deposit Protection Service (DPS) and is refundable after the end of the tenancy subject to full payment of rent, no damages and the property left in the same level of cleanliness as you found at the start of your tenancy.
All applicants must pass professional referencing checks which include affordability check, credit check, employer/work reference and previous landlord reference where applicable. In order to proceed with an application a Holding Deposit limited to no more than the equivalent of one weeks rent will be required. Upon successful referencing the holding deposit will then form part payment of the required tenancy deposit. If the landlord does not accept or rejects the application the holding deposit will be returned in full. If the applicant decides not to proceed with the application, provides false or misleading information or does not pass a legally required "right to rent" immigration check the landlord/agent will not return the holding deposit.
All applicants, irrespective of nationality must pass legally required "Right to Rent" checks.
