Hello,
I have the master bedroom of my house to let and available for a Monday to Friday lodger.
(Full time considered for period of up to 6 months)
The house is a character semi detached house with on road parking without permits. Completely renovated last year. Double glazing and warm for the winter.
Downstairs is a kitchen diner & garden you can use. Upstairs is 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. I live here in one bedroom so you will be sharing with myself (homeowner - friendly and pretty private/busy, used to having lodgers over the years) - and no others. So not a ‘shared house/HMO’ vibe.
Your room is the master bedroom- the largest in the house - with a round bay window, double bed with really comfortable memory foam and spring mattress, duvet, pillows, clothes rail, hangers and a chest of drawers. Everything you need to feel at home.
Looking for someone who needs to be in Portsmouth and who works outside the house for majority of week. Please no Monday to Friday home workers - sorry - as I work from home too.
Bus stops 1 min walk away and go to hospitals, gunwharf and across the city. Even to Chichester! Very well connected.
The house was modernised last year - new boiler, electrics, replastered, painted, cream carpets. So it’s a nice place to be and immaculate.
I have exclusive use of the lounge and my bedroom. But the kitchen diner, garden, and bathroom is a communal space for us.
Solo people only - no couples or overnight guests.
This is not new to me: in previous houses I have typically had lodgers nurses, doctors, university professors/teachers and PHD students.
If this suits you, drop me a message. Will be adding photos soon.
Short term lets considered.
