An older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around his/her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home such as ad hoc shopping, cooking a few meals, light cleaning and tidying, laundry, carrying heavier items, help with IT/tech, and other ad hoc practical help and errands as may be helpful. She has a weekly cleaner.

The accommodation on offer is a large bedroom, furnished with a small double bed and en-suite shower room. There is a bright shared kitchen, sitting room and garden. The property is lovely and well-maintained.

The property is located in Roehampton, 10 mins bus ride or 20 mins walk from Barnes Station (trains into Waterloo) and close to many bus routes. There is a parking space. Richmond Park is just 15 minutes’ walk away.

The lady is very interesting and still does sculpting, plays bridge, reads and looks after her garden.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
