A double room is available in my flat at New Acres, Wandsworth, one of London's newest build-to-rent developments with fantastic resident amenities including a gym, heated outdoor pool/lido, co-working spaces, rooftop terraces, resident lounges, and a genuinely lovely community atmosphere with regular events and activities.

The development seems to attract a great mix of professionals, from those working in wellness, tech and finance to creatives and entrepreneurs.

The room is available at a particularly good rate because I took the flat unfurnished and am furnishing it myself. The photos are currently of the unfurnished apartment as I haven't moved in yet, but I have secured the flat and am due to move shortly. I had originally planned to move in with a friend, but unfortunately their circumstances changed at the last minute.

One of the standout features of the flat is the incredible natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, along with a large private balcony that runs directly off the living area.

The location is also excellent. Wandsworth Town station is less than a minute's walk away, with quick connections to:

• Clapham Junction – 3 minutes
• Vauxhall – 9 minutes
• Waterloo – 15 minutes

The area itself is beautiful, just moments from the Thames and within easy reach of Wandsworth Common, Clapham Common, cafés, restaurants and riverside walks.

About me

I work in a creative industry and am in the office five days a week. Outside of work, I'm a musician and spend a lot of my free time writing, recording (not in the flat, don't worry!) and discovering live music around London.

I'm very sociable and love spending time with friends, but I also value a couple of quieter evenings each week to recharge. I'm looking for someone (ideally female) who is settled in their own rhythm, enjoys the occasional catch-up over a glass of wine, appreciates a calm and friendly home environment, and likes keeping communal spaces tidy so everyone can enjoy them.

I'm very open if you work from home (I don't!) and I'd also if you have a cute pet. I love animals and New Acres is pet-friendly for animals under 15kg.
