Do you work or study at home during the week?
How about dog-sitting in exchange for rent?
£100 per month contribution to bills. (Must have experience being responsible for a dog. )
The weekly dog-sitting commitment:
Morning walks (x4): 930-1030am. on Mon, Weds, Fri and Sunday. Plus two full days of dog-sitting Tuesday and Thursday. So you must genuinely be working or studying at home.
Some flexibility, but this is the standard weekly exchange. (Please don't contact me if you can't do this.)
Quiet, friendly, house share....
Must genuinely enjoy dog-walkin/playing with a dog.
(He can be left alone for 3-4 hours on your dog-sitting days. )
Spacious house, two showers, two lounges........ large garden and great transport links from Drum Brae South and the Glasgow Road nearby.
Buses to Edinburgh and Glasgow are a 5 mins walk and all very frequent. Buses take 40mins to city centre (slow!) and 50 mins to Glasgow. (So popping into the city centre is very limited on dog sitting days unless you have a car.)
Free parking on street. Close to good swimming pools/gyms/supermarkets.
About me: I work at home three days a week, sing in choirs, go to Glasgow for work and London.....meditate daily (TM) and am veggie. Happy to share with non-vegetarians, but no red meat or caged eggs please!
The house is being renovated, so there will be some decorating etc at times.
To reply, please include: your availability, if you work at home (and when), dog experience (breeds), hobbies and if you're happy with mostly vegetarian house.
