A bedroom is available to rent in a flat in a quiet estate near a tram route in west Edinburgh. With access to a shared bathroom, kitchen and living room. The bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinet, office desk, office chair, book case, and built-in wardrobe with quite a bit of storage space. The living room has an exercise bike and rowing machine which you are welcome to use. It also has two sofas and a tv (though I have yet to get it set up - I am a bit technically challenged). The bathroom has been recently modernised and has a shower. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Washing can be hung on a heated drying rack in the living room. The area is quiet as it is an estate that gets no thru traffic. There is noise of trains passing 100m away but this is not actually that intrusive. There are a lot of trees on the estate which softens any noise and makes the area look quite nice. There are two tram stops approx. 12-15 minutes walk away. The trams run east to Princes Street and Leith or west to the airport and are quite frequent - every 7 to 10 minutes or so. There are supermarkets within walking distance: a Tesco Extra and a Lidl about 15 minutes walk away. I would prefer a postgraduate student or professional who is quiet and respectful and has broad interests and therefore likes good conversation.
