Hi, I'm Nick and I'm looking for a flatmate for my spare second bedroom and to share my lower-ground floor apartment + garden in an incredibly central Grade-II listed building. I work nearby in Westminster and am in the office 5 days a week. I’m pretty handy with DIY (I did most of the recent renovation myself) so you’ll benefit from rapid landlord response to any issues.
£1450pcm includes all bills:
-Council tax
-Gas
-Electricity
-Water
-Service Charge
-Ultrafast 1 Gbps internet - good wireless access throughout, including ethernet connection and wireless access point in your bedroom
Bedroom. Medium-sized double bedroom, fully furnished including plenty of storage: large wardrobe, underbed and flip down bureau desk.
Living room and Kitchen. Comfortable and recently renovated living room and kitchen, including new dishwasher and XL fridge.
Bathroom. Note there is one large bathroom, which we would share. It includes a laundry nook with a new washer-dryer.
Location. You can see from the map the location speaks for itself - you can’t get much more central London than this.
Bus/Tube/Train options are great: 4 minutes walk to Waterloo Station or 8 minutes to Blackfriars/Thameslink etc. But to be honest I rarely use them as I find almost everything in central London is within walking or cycling distance. There are also multiple gym options around the corner
Who I am looking for. I am looking for a flatmate on equal terms - ie you’ll have full access to the flat like a normal flatshare tenancy would. I consider myself a fairly sociable and easy-going person and given that we’ll be living together, if you are respectful of others and reasonably tidy I expect we’ll get on well. But I also already have friends so if you prefer to mostly hide in your bedroom that’s also fine.
Occasional guests are fine - for example I have a girlfriend who will stay occasionally. But the flat is not suitable for permanently living-in couples.
