We are 2 young professionals, 2 Greeks, aged 32.

Situated in a calm neighbourhood, it will only take you 5 mins walk to realise that you are indeed in central London!!! 10-15 mins walk to the very busy King's Cross and Angel tube stations, as well as the St Pancras international train station. Buses run to Oxford st and other main points of the city, while Picaddily line (you can take it from King's Cross tube station) stops at all the main points of touristic interest.
A stroll at the canal nearby would also kick off your day refreshingly!
