Hi! I’m moving abroad for work, and after a really happy time here I’m looking for someone to take over my room. I’ve lived here for just under a year and can confidently say it’s a lovely place to stay.
📌 The room :
- The room is bright and spacious, facing Regent’s Canal, with views of the London skyline (including the Shard!).
- It comes with a double bed and wardrobe, and I’m happy to leave a mirror, a clothing rack and under-bed storage at no extra cost.
🏠 The flat:
- The living room has a sofa, dining table and an Amazon speaker system, plus a balcony with the same canal views.
- The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine and plenty of storage.
- The bathroom (bath and toilet) is shared just between the two of you.
- Bills are around £150/month.
📍 Location:
The location is honestly one of the strongest points of the flat.
- King’s Cross St Pancras is a 5-minute walk and Coal Drops Yard is just as close, a great spot with independent shops, restaurants, cafes and regular markets.
- For day-to-day life, Waitrose is nearby and Tesco and Sainsbury’s are a short walk away.
- There’s a Pilates studio, a new Better gym and Padel courts all nearby.
- When you need to travel further, getting to airports is straightforward with no need for taxis, and the Eurostar puts you in Paris or Brussels in a couple of hours.
🕺 Flatmate:
The flat is shared with Aleksa, a consultant in his 20s who works from home a day or two a week depending on workload. He’s tidy, kind, funny and always up for a chat! When he’s not working you’ll find him at a musical or opera, on a tennis court, at the gym or doing needlework.
🗓️ Tenancy:
This is a short-term let until 31 July 2026.
